Mix the entire 4 ounce bottle with 1 gallon of warm water.  Then, you can use the solution in a spray bottle to mist onto the birdhouse or feeder, then let dry before closing the house back up or adding new seed to the bird feeder.  Stubborn stains may need brushing.
