Cedar View Thru Bluebird House

This bluebird house is one of my favorites!  It features an easy opening side panel, with a plexiglass window, so you won't disturb the bluebird nest when you open it.  The plexiglass panel removes with a screw, so it is still easy to clean!  It also features an internal predator guard, to help keep animals, like raccoon out of the bluebird's nesting box.

Attract bluebirds by putting up nesting boxes along fence rows, about 5 feet off the ground.  Bluebirds love the wide open space for gathering food.  If you monitor your nesting boxes closely, and clean them out after each brood leaves, bluebirds will raise up to 4 broods in a season!  Removing the old nest keeps the bluebird chicks low in the house, keeping them safer from predators.
