Hummingbird Feeders

Hummingbird feeders can be filled with a mixure of 4:1 water and sugar.  Heat the water to a boil, then add your sugar so it disolves easier. 

You will see most of the feeders on the market today are red, red attracts hummingbirds.  By selecting a red feeder or one with red flowered feeding ports, you won't need to add coloring to the nectar solution to help attract hummingbirds.
