Duck Houses and Books
Waterfowl
Not many birds are as easy to view as waterfowl.
One of the nice things about attracting waterfowl is that they get their young on the water very quickly, and they are easy to view on the open water.  When I was still in high school, we built wood duck houses at my dad's pond and the wood ducks would return every year.  It is amazing how the simple act of putting up a wood duck house will attract wood ducks to your area.  Along with watching the wood ducks and listening to them in the evening, it is alot of fun to see the ducklings swiming in the water and to see them return each spring.
