There are many birdbaths available, and the solution may be different, depending on where you live and how cold the winter gets.  If it only freezes at night, a wiggler, fountain, or anything to keep the water moving, should be enough.  If you are in a northern state and the winter is very cold, Barn in the Sticks also have heaters available, which work great for birdbaths, and pets!
