Making your own hummingbird nectar is easy, all you need is household sugar and water.
To make hummingbird nectar, first boil four cups of water, then add 1 cup regular, granulated sugar. Mix it together until the sugar is disolved, then remove from heat.
After your mixture cools, fill up you nectar feeders. We don't use any coloring in our nectar mix, just use a red colored feeder or put red things around it...like a red ant moat above it.
