Insect Control

The most natural insect control is to bring the insects natural predators to your backyard, for example, putting up bat boxes or houses, or inviting purple martins to your yard can help control pests.  Otherwise, you may also use some great commercial products.

How do you help minimize the insect population in your backyard without using harsh chemicals?

Mosquito Dunks 6 pack

These larva killers can be used in fish habitats, just place them in standing water near your house, to kill the mosquitoes before they are old enough to bite.  This package includes 6 doughnuts to kill the larvae.

Each dunk kills mosquito larvae for 30 days or more.  One dunk will cover 100 square feet of water surface, regardless of the depth.  They can be used whole or broken into portions and applied to containerized standing water found near the home, such as animal watering troughs, bird baths, flower pots, rain barrels and roof gutters, unused swimming pools, old automobile tires, water gardens and tree holes.

Mosquito larvae do not exist in moving water, like rivers or streams....for open water such as ponds, try our Mosquito Repellent and Larva Killer, which uses all natual ingredients like garlic oil.
