All three chambers are lined with nylon mesh, to help the bats maneuver inside the house. The back of the house is exterior grade plywood, and is predrilled at the top for ease of mounting. The plywood is also painted on the top, to prevent rain and moisture from warping the plywood. Built to last many years to come.
This bat house will hold roughly 300 little brown bats to help you control the mosquito population in your backyard.
Instructions for hanging the bat house: Mount securely at least 12-15 feet high, facing the morning sun. You can stain the house, but it will last for years and years to come, since it is made with rot-resistant cedar and exterior grade plywood. This three chamber bat house has the best chances of attracting bats by placing it on a house, shed or barn, but you can also mount it in trees or a post or large pole.
