This is the complete package! A bird squirrel proof bird feeder and the pole with auger to get it into the ground solid! All you'll need is the bird seed. The pole is 68 inches long, that's just over 5-1/2 feet! At the end of the pole is an auger, just use the stabilizing legs to turn the auger into the ground until the stabilizing legs are flush with the ground for maximum stability. The bird feeder has a large 6 pound bird seed capacity and squirrels won't be able to get from the pole to the feeder. (just place the feeder at least 8 feet away from any trees or buildings, so the squirrels can't jump to it from above.) In addition, there is a threaded rod at the top of the feeder, where you could add an additional bird feeder, like a Droll Yankees tube feeder with a threaded base.

If your feeder is badly damaged by squirrels, to the extent that the effectiveness of the feeder is compromised, Droll Yankees will, at its option, either repair, replace, or send replacement parts, free of charge. This warranty does not extend to damage through neglect, accident or misuse.

*A Defective Part is defined as a defect or flaw that inhibits the correct use of the product that occurs within the first year of ownership.
