Product Description

The Nectar Protector will prevent ants from getting to your hummingbird or oriole nectar.  Sick of ants getting into your hummingbird and oriole bird feeders?  Did you know ants cannot swim?  Hang an ant moat above your hummingbird, oriole or butterfly nectar bird feeder and fill it with water.  It creates a "moat" between the nectar feeder and the hanger, so ants can't get to it.  They also work great on fruit feeders.  Made in the USA. Also available in orange or clear.  The Nectar Protector comes with one "S" hook to attach your hummingbird feeder to the ant moat.

  1. No more ant parties in the feeder 5 Star Review

Posted by on 9th Jul 2018

Have been using this for 3 days and thus far no ants. They had been enjoying the sugar water every day and I could clean it out and in one hour they would be back in the feeder. This seems to be working as the ants are not getting down to the feeder and they have been trying very hard.

  2. Skeptical 5 Star Review

I bought 3 of the Moats but only used one because if that one didn't work I would return the others. I'm amazed at how great it works.

I'm so happy that I no longer have to goop petroleum jelly around the top of my feeders!!

  3. Works like a charm! 5 Star Review

I bought the ant moats for our hummingbird feeders and we haven't had an ant since! This recent purchase is for our vacation home where we are also having an ant problem. Just keep water in them and your nectar is protected! I recommend them for any feeder where you might have an ant problem.
