This is a Wisconsin farm restoration project years in the making. The 1840s farmhouse on these 18 acres in Argyle has seen better days — and we’re bringing them back. From rebuilding the foundation to refinishing floors, from fixing a Farmall 400 tractor to handcrafting birdhouses in the barn, every project gets documented here.

The land tells a story. So does the barn — a gambrel-roofed dairy barn with two concrete silos that has been standing longer than most people’s family trees. We’re not restoring it to look like a museum. We’re restoring it to work.
